50 Shades of Sun (Part One)
Okay, you have THE BLUES CAME DOWN FROM MEMPHIS, right? Get that first. It's maybe the best SINGLE ALBUM of Sun blues. After that, get this. The 25 singles on this disc were made when blues, R&B, RnR, and country all had interchangeable aspects. The transfers are first rate and the whole thing sounds better then music over half a century old deserves to. Enclosed booklet is a great read and has a wonderful photo of Willie Nix as if he was just resurrected in a Haitian voo doo ceremony.
