HASIL ADKINS - OUT TO HUNCH (Norton ED-201/ED-415) This is the one that started the Big Ruckus and kicked off the Norton Records label. Now, thirty-three years after it's first appearance as Norton ED-201, we have issued it to commemorate the first- and last - catalogue title in the Norton Records pantheon-- with new cover art, remastering, and overseas pressing. The coolest collection of all time 50's/60's hunchers by our legendary one man racket squad/rockabilly maniac, crudely recorded in his West Vee-Ay shack! Anniversary edition is now available in limited quantity - same tunes, new cover!

"This stuff is to the vintage rock n' roll era's chart fodder what white lightning is to Tab. This record has to be heard to be believed." - Musician

classic rockabilly with mutant charm
this is rock and roll in its rawest, most fun and absolutely insane best. if you like classic rock and roll, with a good dose of crazy hillbilly, and a touch of southern charm thrown in, this is your stuff right here. you'll be squawking like a mad monkey about sleazy, hot dog eatin' women, chickens, and choppin' heads off, all day and night in your double wide. highly recommended if you know what's good for you.
