KICKS MAGAZINE ROCK N' ROLL PHOTO ALBUM #1: THE GREAT LOST PHOTOGRAPHS OF EDDIE ROCCO  Insane collection of unknown, unpublished 50's n' 60's snaps by R&B fotog Eddie Rocco, who was staff snapper at Charlton Publications (HIT PARADER, EBONY SONG PARADE, ROCK AND ROLL, RHYTHM & BLUES, etc) and also freelanced for Fort Worth's insanely great SEPIA! Includes early Texas pix of Esquerita plus Ruth Brown, Treniers, Roy Orbison, Dion, Yardbirds, Dylan! Gorgeous lush duotones throughout! 100 insane pages!! You will never see any of these photographs elsewhere, or if you do, they have been swiped from this book! By the way, for conspiracy theorists, Eddie Rocco figures prominently into the Warren Commission report and the history of the Kennedy assasination. Stay tuned, Tragic Tales From The Grassy Knoll is expanding into a brain jarring blasteroo at Kicks HQ! Feel free to ask. Last copies.

WOW!! What an amazing collection! Will be going back again and again. 4 stars instead of 5 because paper and some photo quality not great. But ABSOLUTELY worth having this book on my shelf! Git it!

Fascinating pictures well laid out in glorious sepia note. Great forward by Miriam Linna. Nicely constructed book for a nice price.

I bought this for the pics of the incomparable Esquerita, and it did not dissapoint. All the photographs were totally cool.

    Beautiful Ease

Great collection of photos of people having fun who knew how to. It's nostalgic because there was so much less pretension back in the day. Stars were more down to earth. Warm feelings all around. This book captures that relaxed sense of fun beautifully.
