This is a fun album of Chilton with a rhythm section live in a club shortly after landing in NYC. It sounds good in spite of it being a lo-fi recording. If you are a Chilton or Big Star fan, you will dig this platter.

Beautiful vinyl copy and I am very pleased with sound etc
Having lived across the street from the Lower Manhattan Ocean Club between 1990-2014 I always wanted to listen in on what was happening in there during it's brief lifespan 1 year. Now I am pleased to say that I was there! in spirit! Are there more Ocean Club recordings out there?!

Chilton hits a homer with this great live release!
Great quality and excellent packaging for this lovely, unexpected release. As a huge Chilton fan I am thrilled to add this special document of a most memorable night in 1977 to my collection of his records. My only critique is that I wish the vinyl came with a Download Code so I could rock this set in my car....maybe Norton will consider this for future releases ;) . Overall I'm very happy with this wonderful 2xLP set - Thanks to all who made it possible!
